SandwichesShouldNeverTasteLikeCowCrap.jpegSandwiches Should NEVER Taste Like Cow Crap by Dave Lowe (published by Manta Press in 2008) is a tasty stew of stories from life on the Lowe Road.

Starting with strip searches at foreign customs, run-ins with tatami dragon ladies, rides aboard horny camels, shots fired by AK-47's, wheels breaking off taxis and more than a flightmare or two - Dave's travelogue poses a question: Are his size 13 shoes spreading mayhem and chaos with each step?

Only the Travel Gods know for sure.....

Sandwiches Should Never Taste Like Cow Crap back cover:

Many readers have asked where the cover design for Sandwiches Should NEVER Taste Like Cow Crap originated - the final design itself was completed by Sebastien Serandrei, using an image that was shot on location in Ladakh by Brandon Roy, in the middle of a bizarre ride through the Himalayas at night on Vespas with broken headlights that became an episode in the book titled 'Lightless in Little Tibet.'

This is is the original digital image shot by Brandon Roy:

The image shot by Brandon Roy was then hand painted by an artist in Southeast Asia (due to the fact the original image size was too small to use for the cover file) and then photographed by Jake Catlett:
